Study course Objectives

• To introduce students to the field of Intercontinental Relations simply by highlighting some of the prominent problems in the self-discipline • To show students to the major International Relations theories and approaches which have dominated the discipline considering that the post-World Battle I period • To exhibit the relationship between these ideas and techniques and practical international relations in subfields such as overseas policy and international politics economy • To analyze global issues employing these ideas an methods

You can recognize these goals by

• Standard and timely lecture and tutorial attendance. There will be zero pandering to lateness and absenteeism therefore make every effort to be present and to be on time! • Assimilating and reviewing lecture notes

• Reading almost all recommended articles and relevant chapters from your designated books before attending class seeing that lectures regularly make references to and provide perspectives around the required readings:

Classroom Guidelines

• Not studying of the newspapers, chatting, ingesting, surfing the internet, listening to music, engaging in intimacies, texting or speaking on cell phones during lectures • Unless it's a burning query that cannot possible wait, keep your inquiries for the conclusion of the course. If it is a burning query, then politely raise your odds. • Value for lecturer and tutors should be used at all times. • Lectures will probably be NOT be placed on the net nor e-mailed to learners under any circumstances. Consequently it is very important that learners attend almost all lectures. You will see no pandering to absenteeism. • Questions/issues are to be discussed during office hours in my office or during training. They will not always be entertained following lectures nor in the corridors, library, roads, gym or perhaps pool.

Program Structure: This course consists of one particular lecture (2 hours) and one training session (1 hour) per week. Participation in both of these is definitely imperative. Move will be delivered to monitor students' attendance. Recommended Readings
