Course Information

Welcome to the course! With this class, we all will thoroughly investigate the social causes that create, perpetuate, and try to solve social problems inside our society. To start with, we is going to examine the sociopolitical dimensions involved in the identification of sociable problems. The course are focused on exploring a series of significant issues affecting society. Finally, students will be involved in conceptualizing strategies for ameliorating these challenging conditions. The best goal is made for students to apply the principles learned through this course for their own lives and become even more analytical, up to date citizens.

Sociology Program Mission

The quest of Shaw University's baccalaureate sociology software is to teach and graduate skilled and culturally proficient sociology majors who are very well prepared pertaining to meaningful support, advocacy, and leadership in relevant profession fields and for successful postgraduate study.
