The importance of education especially in the 21st century to the total progress an individual is usually increasingly staying over emphasized. This is due to the fact that an uneducated individual features little or nothing to offer the society; regarding acquired wisdom. It is therefore no surprise that most mother and father are now expanding keen fascination about the education of their children, a situation that leads them to wish to know more along with partake in what are the results within the college system. In all countries of the world, education is known as the cornerstone of any structure intended for sustainable development of any region. It is a fulcrum around that this quick advancement economic, personal, sociological and human nation revolves. In Nigeria, the need for popular education is really high mainly because education isn't just an investment in human capital, but as well pre-requisite as well as correlated for economic creation (Adeyemo 2000). The belief that education is an engine of expansion rests on the amount and quality of education in any nation. In fact , the National Plan on Education (1981: 6) states that education is the greatest investment the fact that nation are the speedy development of it is economic, personal, sociological and human resources. This further gives that education shall keep on being highly rated in the national expansion plans because education is the central instrument of change and this any fundamental change in the intellectual and social outlook of any society needs to be preceded by educational wave. Education, from the pragmatics point of view could be viewed as the organization of experience right into a holistic social intelligence to relieve symptoms of future experience. The idealists see education as the cultivation in the desirable way of thinking. Sociologically, it truly is seen as the dissemination of culture to the young era. In other words, education is the " process in which the individual acquires the many physical and interpersonal capabilities demanded of him by the group into which usually he is delivered and within just which he must function”, (Ohikhokhai, 2002: 154). (Fafanwa, 1972: 8) There is no gainsaying the fact that Nigeria's educational system at every level (Primary, Secondary and tertiary) have been experiencing a down submit the last few years. One of such reasons could be attributed to the under auto financing of the educational sector. The achievements of a child in education will depend largely upon what the kid is trained in primary school. Put simply, primary school education is actually a foundation where all other degrees of education are built. Many researches have revealed that good instructing particularly with the primary level, lay a great foundation to get higher research and can help to make a lot of difference in pupils learning and capacity to cope with various other life issues (Adepoju 2001). In order terms, since the remaining education method is built upon primary education, the primary level is the key towards the success or failure with the whole program. Apart from home as the first agent of socialization, primary school is the start that introduces formal education or literacy to the kids. The National Policy upon Education  defines Major Education since the " education given in institutions for youngsters aged six to eleven plus” to get a duration of half a dozen years.
